Is the Bible REAL?


Is the Bible Authentic and Reliable?

Three tests may be used to validate the authenticity and
reliability of the Bible.


    

  1.  Bibliographic Test - i.e. the number of documents and their age

  2.  Internal Test - i.e. the authorship references within the document

  3.  External Tests - e.g. archeology, extra-Biblical literature and secular writers



These tests help to verify the AUTHENTICITY, RELIABLITY AND to provide a Control Group.

These tests may be applied to any historical documents.   It is interesting to
note that many well accepted ancient documents have far fewer "proofs" than the
Bible, some with copies many hundreds of years removed from the original, yet they
are not questioned, even though the Bible has copies of documents dated to within
25 years of original authorship!
