I love you, man. I love the fact that even in the midst of losing your mom,
you still share the Gospel. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes at the
beauty of this.

Thank God for His amazing timing and mercy. How wonderful that your mom
accepted this mercy just when she needed it most! How wonderful that He
provided, in her, an example for the rest of your family. We will indeed be
praying for them.

 My mother accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior a few
 weeks ago.  She had been suffering for a long time with lung cancer
 and emphysema and other undiagnosed medical problems, whether
 stroke or heart attack we'll never know.  She smoked her entire life.

 She went to be with the Lord this morning around 3am Eastern time.

 She was 66.

 No tears, no fears, no regrets.   She's with the Lord now.

 I ask for prayer for my family. They do not know the Lord... yet.   
 This has been very hard on my step dad... He and my mother were very close.  
 They did almost everything together.  He cared for her greatly.  
 He's doing ok today, but please pray for his salvation.

(NOTE: my step dad accepted the Lord just before Christmas!!!  PTL!!! :)

 I'm doing fine, I'm totally at peace with what has happened, like I said,
 no tears, no fears, no regrets.  My mother's friend, the one that led her
 to the Lord just a short time ago, called us Thursday night to let me know things were
 very bad.  I called my mom and got to talk for about 20 minutes Friday morning.  She was
 slipping in and out during the call, but we got to say good bye.  The next day she was
 in a coma...  and today she's home, no pain, no tears, no suffering.

 I pray that if you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, that
 you will accept Him.  Leaving life without Jesus is not an acceptable option.

 It's not by our good works, our good deeds, our good looks or good luck, 
 it's only by the precious blood of Jesus Christ that we're made acceptable to God.    
 Even an 11th hour acceptance of God's free gift through his Son Jesus Christ is 
 enough to grant you passage to eternity with Christ. 

 The Bible says the wages of sin is death.  We're all sinners,
 damned to hell.  But Christ died in our place for our sins. He paid the price for
 our sins, as He had none.

 Remember, it's not what we do, but what he did.   All we need to do is
 believe and accept.  Once you realize what has happened living by faith and walking
 with Him is not hard to do...
